The Heron House is available for weekly or monthly rental all year long. Cape Charles and the Eastern Shore are wonderful to explore. Sporting enthusiasts can golf on the new Jack Nicklaus or Arnold Palmer golf courses located in the Bay Creek development, kayak at the southern tip of the Delmarva Peninsula or go bird watching in Kiptopeke State Park. Boating and fishing are available from Cape Charles Harbor. The Town of Cape Charles has a public beach along the Chesapeake Bay. It is the perfect place to catch some rays, swim, watch the boats go by and take in a refreshing, cool breeze. In the evening, you can watch the stunning sunset over the Bay. You can also collect colorful sea glass, a popular pastime for locals and visitors alike. The beach is open from sunrise to sunset.
